In Belarus there are two oil refining plants

One of them is located in the city of Polotsk, the other - in Mozyr

Today, the volume of refined oil is estimated at 24 million tons per year

Belarusian oil products comply with international quality standards and, by the way, are also in demand on the foreign market

The Russian Federation is considered the main oil exporter to Belarus

In addition, an open Joint-Stock Company is established (Naftan). It creates: 

- Engine oils for cars, trucks and special equipment 

- Gear oil 

- Invented solvents that are used in construction and road construction 

The company also produces a wide range of chemical products:

- High pressure polyethylene 

- Acrylic fiber 

- Chemicals with small tonnage 

- Consumer goods
